The MESH program (Makers Education Social Hack) is a SokoTech initiative aimed at educators who work with young people in social inclusion programs. Its goal is to launch a scalable experience that can be implemented in libraries, cultural centers, civic centers, schools, and other public or private facilities. It consists of an online, universally accessible training program based on the Maker philosophy and ethical open-source tools. Through digital fabrication and rapid prototyping, it seeks to create emancipatory learning environments for youth. Each of the following knowledge capsules has been developed by leaders in Maker education and social inclusion.

Our goal is for each educator to learn through these 9 modules and become capable of sparking interests, passions, and strengths in young people, giving them access to the latest technologies, knowledge, and skills to carry out a project that matters to them and their community.

MESH is launching with a pilot in collaboration with the Fundació Pare Manel in the neighborhoods of Verdum and Roquetes (Barcelona), with support from the Barcelona City Council.

SokoTech is a digital social innovation lab made up of a multidisciplinary team that passionately designs and implements ideas, programs, and events at the intersection of art, science, and technology. Over the past years, it has implemented numerous activities focused on social inclusion, the STEAM philosophy, and learning experiences.
